We went to Corpus Christi last week for Cali's Luau (check out Holly's blog for the pics). We had a ton of fun while we were down there. In addition to the Luau, we got to go the beach. I put Aubrey and Ella on my surfboard and they each had several good rides. Aubrey got up a few times and Ella enjoyed cruising on her tummy.

Oh, I love love love the beach! I'm with you on the island thing!
Well I agree on living on the island. We thought of it many times in these contemplating days of retirement moving back to the islands that is except that would mean not seeing our kids as often as we'd like soooo we'll settle for little trips to the beach. Island waters are much more pretty color wise. Good job on the teaching the surfing skills yeah, Aubrey and Ella, soon to be Cali. Woo hoo. In the meantime we'll continue to store the board for those trips here unlesss we do relocate and well maybe daddy will just have to take up surfing. Ahhh maybe not! Glad you had a good time I know your connection to water. love mom
you were so happy teaching our girls how to surf. i saw this little sparkle in your eyes:)and of course they loved it too. i know you miss being by the beach. maybe someday we'll be closer to one again. . .
I was so happy to see that they were not afraid to surf. I think their swim lessons are really helping to build their confidence. I was so proud!! :o)
